A Journey of Healing, Growth, and Purpose

When I moved to the UK from Lithuania in 2007, I arrived with a foundation in nursing and physiotherapy, yet found myself facing the challenge of starting anew—navigating an unfamiliar language, a different culture, and the uncertainty of beginning again. But embracing life with an open heart led me to incredible connections, people who expanded my perspectives and shaped my path in ways I could never have imagined.

In 2013, I took a leap and founded my massage therapy practice, focusing on easing repetitive strain injuries and promoting deep relaxation. It was through this work that I began to truly see the profound connection between the body and mind. The science, and observation helped me realise how soft tissue therapy could relieve pain, yet I noticed that in some cases, symptoms persisted calling for deeper enquiry.

This realization ignited my curiosity and passion, pushing me to explore the deeper layers of well-being, the effects of lifestyle choices, and the intricate dance between our emotions, mental health, and physical body.

In 2018, I embarked on a new chapter, studying at Middlesex University London, where I earned my BSc (Hons) in 2023. The journey was both challenging and humbling, as I immersed myself in the study of human psychology and developmental trauma-informed therapeutic care. During this time, I worked with Iceni Ipswich, a charity supporting families impacted by substance misuse and relationship harm, deepening my understanding of the power of healing through compassionate human connection.

Reflecting on my journey, I see now the personal growth happens when we embrace change, when we allow ourselves to be supported by empathetic mentors, professionals, and shared wisdom of lived experiences. Through experiential therapeutic practice and ongoing exploration of neuroscience, psychology, and holistic well-being, I have come to trust even more fully in the universal potential for healing. When we take ownership of our well-being, we unlock endless possibilities for a fulfilling and beautiful life.

Therapy is a powerful and nurturing space—one that cultivates trust, insight, and the skills needed for lasting change. I believe wholeheartedly that no matter your past, healing is attainable, and a steadier, more fulfilling future can be shaped with care and intention.
